Heat Stress

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, millions of U.S. workers are exposed to heat in the workplace. The result is thousands of cases of heat-related illness, some of which are fatal.

As an employer, it is important to recognize that heat stress is entirely preventable. The key is understanding occupational risk factors and then educating employees on how to protect themselves in hot conditions.
